About Me

I’ve been writing exclusively about Linux and open source software for many years, and my articles have appeared in Danish, British, US, German, Spanish, and Russian magazines and websites. I’m an amateur photographer, and I write about open source photography tools on my Scribbles and Snaps blog.

Writing

I write about Linux and open source software for a living. Currently, I contribute to Linux Magazine, Raspberry Pi Geek, and c't Digital Photography. I also maintain the Productivity Sauce blog, where I cover open source productivity software. I write about open source photography tools on my Scribbles and Snaps blog, and I’ve published the digiKam Recipes and Instant Guide to DSLR Dashboard ebooks.

Coding

I’m not much of a coder, but I’ve cobbled together a handful of tools and scripts for my personal use. The fruits of my coding endeavors are available on GitHub.

Photography

A hand-picked selection of my photos is available on my Mejiro-powered gallery. All photos there are released under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License. In my spare time, I tinker with Mejiro, a forgetful single-file PHP web app for instant photo publishing. I also maintain the Shoot Film In wiki.
